NEET-UG and UGC-NET Controversy: The controversy arising out of irregularities in NEET UG and cancellation of UGC NET exam is not coming to an end. Students are continuously protesting against the irregularities in the exams. In this connection, the National Student Organization of India protested at Jantar Mantar on Monday.

In this episode, the Indian National Student Organization protested at Jantar Mantar on Monday. During this, the police detained more than two dozen protesting students. The police stopped them from moving forward by putting up barricades.
In fact, NSUI had planned to surround the Parliament on the day of the beginning of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha. In such a situation, a large number of NSUI workers gathered at Jantar Mantar. They had placards and NSUI flags in their hands. The workers tried to march some distance from Jantar Mantar but the police stopped them from moving forward by putting up barricades.
During this, some activists climbed the barricade and tried to cross it. Due to which the police had to use mild force. The activists were detained and taken to different police stations. NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary said that our demand from Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is that for transparency and fairness, NEET UG should be conducted again and NTA should be dissolved.
