NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) confirmed on May 13, 2026, the extradition of high-profile fugitive Prabhdeep Singh from Azerbaijan, marking a pivotal victory in India’s fight against transnational drug cartels. Singh, an Interpol Red Notice-listed fugitive, was repatriated following coordinated international efforts.
A specialized three-member Delhi Police team escorted Singh’s extradition to India, with his arrival finalized on May 13.
