Gurugram traffic jam: Cyber city is facing traffic jam, development is getting affected

Cyber City traffic jam Gurugram, which is known as Cyber City, is facing the problem of traffic jam. Due to this, foreign investors and businessmen from other parts of the country are also avoiding coming to Cyber City. Development is getting affected. Entrepreneurs hope that attention will be paid to the development of Cyber City in the Union Budget.

The development of Cyber City, which has made a name for itself in the world in the fields of IT, IT enabled, automobile, garment, telecom and medical tourism, is getting affected by traffic jams. Not only foreign investors but businessmen from other parts of the country are also avoiding coming to Cyber City..

Till a few years ago, all kinds of meetings used to happen in Cyber City, but now businessmen have started holding meetings in Delhi instead of Cyber City. This has tarnished the image of Cyber City. Emphasis will have to be laid on elevating the section of Delhi-Jaipur Highway till Manesar.

Work on the Regional Rapid Transit System to be developed from Delhi to Alwar will have to be started with immediate effect. The metro will have to be extended to Manesar on one side and to Delhi Airport on the other.

This will reduce traffic pressure in Cyber City. Reduction in pressure will give wings to development. Entrepreneurs hope that attention will be paid to the development of Cyber City in the Union Budget.

The fastest growing city in the country is Gurugram, which is known as Cyber City. The automobile sector has a total of about 10 thousand units. The garment sector has five thousand units. The IT, IT enabled and telecom sector has about seven thousand units.

Lakhs of people work in these places. Gurugram alone plays more than 60 percent role in filling the state’s revenue reserves. During the last few years, emphasis has been laid on infrastructure development but the work has not been done as per the scale of the city’s expansion. This has started affecting development.

10 years ago, plans were made to develop a regional rapid transit system along with metro expansion. Till date, work on both has not started at the ground level. Metro facility is available only in some areas of Cyber City. The result is that it is easy to reach Mumbai from Delhi, but difficult to reach Gurugram.

Earlier, foreign investors or businessmen from any part of the country used to say that they would come to Gurugram to hold meetings but now they have started saying that you can come. In the last few years, people’s attitude towards Cyber City has changed due to traffic jams. Because of this, development is not happening as fast as it was happening. The section of Delhi-Jaipur Highway till Manesar should be elevated as soon as possible. Work should be started on the Regional Rapid Transit System. Otherwise, development will come to a complete halt.
