Gurugram. To get rid of the jam on the roads of Old Gurugram, the traffic police has prepared a plan to make some roads one-way.
On Tuesday, DCP Traffic Virendra Vij, Traffic ACP Sukhbir and ACP Suresh Kumar along with others took to the streets. Looked at the tax situation. A survey was also conducted to make the roads one-way. DCP Traffic Virendra Vij said that entry from Jharsa Road to Sector-32 was prohibited and the exit was made one-way only.
To enter Sector 32, people will be able to use the first cut near Medicity for coming and going. During this, discussion was held with everyone present and after considering it, a trial of making some routes one-way to provide convenience to the general public has been decided. It was decided to do it in a systematic way, so that the traffic can be operated successfully and its benefits can be given to the general public.
During the inspection, the concerned Traffic Inspector Azad Singh was given proper instructions on the spot to make Sector 32 one-way and operate the traffic with the help of traffic cones and barricades. To get rid of the jam at Jharsa Chowk, other alternative routes were also considered, so that the traffic can be operated smoothly.
During this, Mahavir Chowk, Agrasen Chowk were also surveyed for smooth traffic and these routes were also made forest- Appropriate instructions were given to the concerned traffic inspector to do so. By contacting GMDA officials, the work of making these routes one-way and U-turn will also be started soon.
