A flyover will be constructed to connect the Dwarka Expressway to the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway. Its construction will make it easier for drivers coming from Delhi to go to Pataudi or Rewari. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started the construction work of this flyover.
The target has been set to complete its construction by March next year. At the same time, NHAI claims that the construction work of this entire expressway will be completed by December 31. The 46 km long Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway is being constructed at a cost of about Rs 900 crore.
The expressway is passing through Sector-88A and 88B on Dwarka Expressway, which is going up to Rewari. NHAI had planned to build a flyover to connect the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway from Royal Green Reality Court Yard located in Sector-37D to the Dwarka Expressway. Under this, work has been started from Friday morning. Under this, a flyover of about 183 meters long will be constructed.
The highway was to be completed in the year 2022
In the year 2020, NHAI gave the contract of construction of Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari highway to a company. This expressway should have been completed in the year 2022, but due to many obstacles, this work could not be completed in the stipulated time period.
NHAI project officer Yogesh Tilak said, “A flyover will be constructed to connect Dwarka Expressway to Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway. HVPN has been requested to shift the high tension line.”
