Gurugram. The district court has canceled the anticipatory bail plea of the accused of mixing ethanol in petrol at Dhaba. The court accepted in the hearing of the case that it is necessary to arrest the accused and interrogate them.
This order has been given by the court of Additional Sessions and Judge Sunil Kumar Dewan. In this case, the Manesar police station had registered a case on the complaint of the Assistant Food and Supplies Officer.
Vijay Kumar, Assistant Food and Supply Officer, told in his complaint to the police that the chief minister’s flying squad had informed that ethanol was being mixed in the petrol tanker at Rajputana Dhaba near Panchgaon. When the Chief Minister Flying Squad team reached the spot, a five thousand liter chamber of the tanker was found open. There was less than 300 liters of petrol in it. The team had taken seven samples from the spot. After this the team arrested the dhaba operator Shamsher.
It was argued on behalf of the defense that the name of his client in this case has been taken by the main accused in the interrogation of the police. Along with this, the main accused in this case has got bail. His name is not even in the police FIR.
The court admitted in the hearing of the case that in interrogation of the accused, the police have to find out from where the accused used to buy ethanol and sell it after mixing ethanol in petrol. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the court has canceled the anticipatory bail plea.
