The contractor was already saying that there is a shortage of workers for garbage collection. Now after this police campaign, this problem has increased even more.

People are not able to find car cleaners

Harendra Singh, former head of the Antariksh Heights Society RWA in Sector 84, said that his car is not being cleaned. The car cleaner is not coming due to fear. He said that he is lucky that the maid in his house is a Hindu. DLF Phase 2 resident Nidhi Taneja said that after the police action, many maids have gone to their villages. Some maids have been stopped by explaining that this action is against Bangladeshis, not against the residents of West Bengal.
