Budget has been passed for metro expansion

Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also discuss with the officials of the development related departments on providing other facilities in Cyber ​​City as per the name. About 10 years ago, a plan was made to expand the metro in old Gurugram. The budget for this has also been passed.

For the past one year, there has been a discussion about starting work at the ground level. The soil has been tested. Even the designs of the stations have been prepared. Even after this, people are raising questions about why work is not being started at the ground level. This was also an issue in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

What is the problem in expanding the metro?

It was expected that the work would start at the ground level as soon as the assembly elections were over, but it did not happen. The Chief Minister will get information from the officials about what is the problem and will issue guidelines. Let us tell you that there is a plan to extend the metro not only in the old Gurugram area, but also from Palam Vihar area to Dwarka in Delhi and on the other side to Manesar.

The corridor will be 28.5 km long in old Gurugram

The metro is to be extended beyond the Millennium City Gurugram Metro Station to the old Gurugram area. This will be a 28.5 km long corridor. Rs 5,452 crore will be spent on this. There will be many stations beyond the Millennium City Centre Gurugram Metro Station.
