A 14-year-old boy died after falling from the 14th floor while playing in the balcony of a high-rise society in Greater Noida. The police sent the child’s body for post-mortem and started an investigation. Balconies have grills of low height, which become the cause of accidents.
Noida: A major accident took place in a highrise society in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. A 14-year-old child died after falling down while playing in the balcony. The child was playing in the balcony of his flat on the 14th floor. According to the police, the child fell down from the balcony of his flat while playing. The child died in this incident. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The police took the child’s body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. After this incident, there is an uproar in the child’s family.
Bisrakh police station in-charge said that information about the accident was received at around 3 pm on Friday afternoon. It was told that a 14-year-old child was playing in the balcony of his flat in Paramount Emotions Housing Society. While playing, he fell down from the balcony. The child died in this incident. Police said that the child is about 14 years old and his name is Pranshu. The police is currently investigating the matter. It is worth noting that this is not the first case of death by falling from a highrise society. Many cases have come to light before this in which children and elderly have lost their lives in such accidents. Every time it has been seen that accidents are happening due to the low height of the iron grills installed in the balcony. For this, many builders have been told by the concerned authority to install iron railings in the balconies of their buildings as per the standards, so that such accidents can be prevented. Along with this, the family members have also been made aware to install nets in the high-rise flats in their society.
