Weather News Gurugram: There is a possibility of the weather of Delhi-NCR changing due to snowfall once again in the Western Himalayan region. Due to this, there are chances of rain along with cloud cover in the district. In view of the changing trend of weather, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the next two days. Along with this, there is a possibility of decline in the minimum and maximum temperatures of the district. In such a situation, the number of viral victims in the hospital may increase further.

According to the Meteorological Department, people may also face problems due to strong wind. There is a possibility of cold wave moving at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers from the Himalayan region. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to remain alert. Avoid long journeys during this period. Strong wind can cause trouble. Keep windows and doors of houses closed. Avoid sitting under trees.

Minimum and maximum temperatures again

Due to the northwest wind, people will once again feel cold even on a normal day. Meanwhile, there are chances of change in minimum and maximum temperatures again. However, there is no possibility of a cold wave like situation. The minimum temperature in the district is expected to be 14 and maximum temperature will be 25 degrees Celsius. Due to less difference in both the temperatures, people will feel cold again. There is a possibility of a one degree drop in the minimum temperature in the coming days. After this, there are chances of increase in temperature.

Meteorologist ML Khichchar said that cold wind will torment for the next two days. Cold air continues to flow from the Himalayas and hilly areas of North India. Due to this, the weather remains changeable in the hilly areas including Haryana and Punjab. Strong winds will blow in Southern Haryana for the next two days. There is a possibility of cloudy sky on the very first day of March. During this period, there is a possibility of hailstorm along with sporadic rain in some areas.

Viral victims should take special care

Considering the forecast of the weather, Principal Medical Officer Dr. Jayamala said that these days the number of patients suffering from viral infection in the hospital has increased significantly. In such a situation, changing weather conditions may further increase the number of these patients. In such a situation, it is important that people take care of their health according to the changing weather. Elderly people, children and women should take special precautions. Keep the heads of small children covered. Wear light, warm clothes with full sleeves. This will protect them from getting infected by the virus in the changing weather.
