The former Union minister on Thursday joined the election campaign after nearly two weeks. She was seen on the election stage in Assandh in Karnal with Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. When asked about her claim for the post of Chief Minister, Selja said, ”The decision of the Chief Minister is always taken by the high command. There is a meeting of the newly elected MLAs in which a one-line resolution is passed that the high command is authorized to choose the Chief Minister. The final decision is of the high command.” She said that the decision of the Chief Minister will be acceptable to everyone.
