Gurugram News: Two arrested for tampering with photos of women on social media

Gurugram. Cases of blackmailing women by creating fake IDs on Instagram and tampering with their photos are increasing. After registering a case on such complaint, Cyber ​​West team has arrested two youths.

After interrogation, the police presented him in the court. Where he has been sent to Bhondsi jail for 14 days judicial custody. Cyber ​​West police station in-charge Inspector Samvit’s team took action and with the help of police technology, two accused were arrested from Palam Vihar last Saturday.

The accused were identified as Abhishek resident of village Auron, District Nawada (Bihar) and Rahul Khan resident of Bhagu Ki Dhani Tehsil Kishangarh, District Khairthal, Rajasthan.  The accused told during police interrogation that accused Abhishek had created a fake ID on Instagram and made the photo viral by making it obscene/morphing.

Whereas the second accused Rahul Khan had hacked the Instagram account and made the photos viral by making them obscene. Police interrogation of the accused revealed that in both the cases, the complainants had edited their photographs to harass the women and made them obscene and then made the obscene photographs viral on social media.

One tab and four SIM cards used in the crime have also been recovered from the possession of the accused.
