Gurugram Breaking News: Gurugram. Due to the closure of entry of heavy vehicles in Delhi for the full dress rehearsal, there was jam at many places on the highway in Gurugram. Vehicles were stopped by deploying additional policemen at Sirhaul, Kapashera, Aya Nagar border between Gurugram and Delhi.
Even after the entry of heavy vehicles in Delhi was stopped, DCP Traffic suspended three policemen for dereliction of duty by the policemen deployed at the checkpoints.
Delhi struggled with traffic jam from morning to afternoon
Due to route diversion, people had to face traffic jams from morning to afternoon in New Delhi, Central, Northern and South-Eastern districts. Due to the rehearsal, heavy vehicles were stopped at the borders, due to which there was jam on the borders also. There was maximum traffic jam in Sarai Kale. Due to which the drivers had to face a lot of trouble.
