A policeman posted in the Nagarpalika Parishad office committed suicide by shooting himself with his official rifle. Before shooting himself, the deceased made a video on his phone, in which he accused a woman and her companions of threatening to falsely implicate him and harassing him mentally and financially.
The police have sent the body for postmortem and informed the relatives of the deceased. The police is registering a report against the accused.
He came in contact with woman two years ago
Pammi Kumar, a residentthe of Bulandshahr, was posted as a security guard in the EVM room of the Nagarpalika. On Tuesday evening, Pammi made a video on his phone. In the video, Pammi said that he came in contact with a woman two years ago. Later, a relationship developed between the two.
Started pressuring to give money
After some time, the woman started pressuring Pammi to give money. In the last few months, the accused along with her two companions were blackmailing the deceased in the name of implicating him in a rape case and were harassing him mentally and financially.
Shot himself with a government rifle
The deceased blamed the accused and his companions for his suicide decision. After making the video, Pammi shot herself in the head with a government rifle at 8:30 pm. She died on the spot due to the bullet injury. On getting information about the incident, the police team reached the spot. The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
DCP Vivek Chand Yadav said that the relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident. On the basis of the video made by the deceased, a report is being filed against the woman and her companions. The accused will be arrested soon.
