The body of a young man was found in a sack near Sector-99 in Dhankot canal in Gurugram district on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Pushpendra, a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh. The woman used to work with the young man in a company located in Saraswati Enclave. The police arrested the couple. The couple had hatched a conspiracy to murder the man when the husband came to know about his lover.

Gurugram Police has solved the case of the body of a young man found in a sack near Sector 99 in Dhankot canal on Monday morning. After strangulating the young man, his body was put in a sack and thrown into the canal.

The Farukhnagar Crime Branch arrested the couple accused of murder from Saraswati Enclave of Sector 10 police station area on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Pushpendra, a resident of Nangalalekhraj village, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Sub Inspector Amit Kumar, in-charge of Farukhnagar Crime Branch, said that Dhankot Police Station had received information about a dead body found in a sack in the canal at 11 am on Monday. The canal cleaning worker had told that he was removing garbage from the Telpani net near the canal in Sector 99. During this time, the sack was found.

It contained the body of a young man with his hands and legs tied. A case of murder was registered at Rajendra Park police station. After a lot of effort, the young man was identified. During the investigation, a missing report of the young man was found registered at Sector 10 police station. The body had swollen due to being soaked in water for two days. Therefore, his face was not recognizable. The relatives identified the body as Pushpendra from the letters PVKY engraved on his hand.

Information about the woman was found out after questioning the company and people

After identifying the dead body, the crime branch found out after questioning the relatives that Pushpendra had been working in a farm manufacturing company located in Saraswati Enclave for eight years. He lived alone on rent in Saraswati Enclave. His family lives in the village and he has two children. It was found out from the company employees and people around that Pushpendra was friends with a woman working in the company.

After this, their call details were searched. After collecting the information and observing them, the crime branch arrested the accused woman and her husband from Saraswati Enclave on Tuesday afternoon. They were identified as 30-year-old Neelam and 34-year-old Ramnivas. The couple is a resident of village Sasotia Jagdish of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh.

Conspiracy was hatched after knowing about the love affair

During the police (Gurugram Police) interrogation of the accused, it was found out that Ramnivas used to drive an auto. When Ramniwas came to know about the love affair between Neelam and Pushpendra, he along with Neelam made a plan to kill Pushpendra. On June 8, Neelam met Pushpendra in the company and asked him to come to her room at 2 am. Pushpendra reached Neelam’s room at the given time.

The couple killed Pushpendra by stuffing a cloth in his mouth and strangulating him. They tied the body in a sack, then Ramniwas took the body in his auto rickshaw to Dhankot canal and threw it in the canal and came back. To escape from the police, they also changed their rented room on the same day.
