Gurugram News: Dengue spreading rapidly in New Gurugram, five areas become hotspots

Gurugram. The sting of dengue is spreading rapidly in New Gurugram area. The Health Department has identified five such areas as Wazirabad, Gurugram, Garhi, Bhangraula and Badshahpur as dengue hotspots. Dengue is spreading the most in these areas. On Tuesday also four new patients were found in the district.

According to the Health Department, if at least eight patients are found in the same area, the department is declaring such an area as sensitive. The department identified such areas by collecting data for the last two to three months. It was revealed that so far 21 dengue patients have been found in Gurugram (rural area).

31 patients have been identified in Garhi area. Most patients have been found in Wazirabad area. Apart from this, eight patients have been found in Bhangraula, 14 in Badshahpur and 24 in urban areas. So far, 184 dengue patients have been identified in the entire district. Of these, 35 patients are still admitted in the hospital. The remaining 102 have been discharged from the hospital after recovering. On Tuesday, dengue larvae were found in 378 houses and surrounding areas in the district. Show cause notices were issued to 296 people on Tuesday.

After identifying dengue victims, the health department is also busy identifying the areas. Activity has been increased in more sensitive areas. The department is making people aware by distributing pamphlets at such places.
