Gurugram news : BMW car drowned, water filled in the trunk; cars and autos got damaged due to waterlogging in new Gurugram

Rain in Gurugram New Gurugram received heavy rainfall on Thursday, due to which main roads and lanes were flooded. Trees fell on Galleria Road and Supermart Road. The Millennium City Center area was flooded with one to one and a half feet of rainwater. Meanwhile, a BMW car drowned in the waterlogging in Sector 57 of New Gurugram. The boot of the BMW was also filled with water.

Working people had to face trouble

Due to rain, school children and working people had to face a lot of trouble. Due to rain, a tree fell near Vyapar Kendra Market and the service lane got closed. Due to this, the road was closed and the drivers faced trouble. While it rained heavily for two hours in many areas of new Gurugram, there was no rain in the old city. Partial clouds remained during the day.

At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.0 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is being recorded around 33.0 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected till July 31. On Wednesday also, 17 mm rainfall was recorded in the city, due to which an eight kilometer long traffic jam occurred on the Delhi-Jaipur highway and the service lane of the highway in Narsinghpur was submerged in water, in which many vehicles were damaged.

Vehicles and autos were damaged

DLF Phase 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sector 27, 28, 42, 43, Sushant Lok, Millennium City Center, Sector 44 Chowk near RD City, MG Road, IFFCO Chowk and surrounding areas got heavily waterlogged after the rain. In the Millennium City Center area, water filled up to the floor of city buses. Many autos and vehicles got stuck in the water. The water could be drained from the roads after 12 noon.
