In the meeting of the Town and Country Planning Department on Friday, District Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav reviewed the status of colonies fulfilling the eligibility outside the corporation area and in the control area of ​​the Town and Country Planning Department.

The way for regularization of colonies became easier

The Deputy Commissioner said that the Haryana Government has now made the path of regularizing irregular colonies easier. The first condition for eligibility to regularize the colony, The area of ​​the colony should be minimum two acres. Internal roads should be at least 3 meters wide. There should also be a report in the proposal regarding the feasibility of connecting the colony by road to the PWD department.

ACP Headquarters Nodal Officer in action to remove illegal construction

In the meeting, DTP (Enforcement) Manish Yadav informed the committee about the department’s action to stop illegal construction and the proposal for new colonies. The Deputy Commissioner said that ACP Headquarters has been made the nodal officer for police related work to stop illegal construction and beautification.

Also, whichever department demands police protection and duty magistrate for its action, then an officer of the same department will be made duty magistrate. Not more than two departments will take action to remove encroachment or demolition in a day
