Gurugram news : Haryana Assembly Election 2024 Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has announced the dates of the assembly elections in a press conference today i.e. on Friday. Voting will be held in Haryana on October 1. After this, counting of votes will take place on October 4. This time elections are going to be held in the state (Haryana) 35 days in advance.
According to the dates released by the Election Commission, nomination will be held in Haryana on September 5. After this, votes will be cast for 90 assemblies on October 1. Then counting of votes will be done on October 4. Meaning on October 4, the people of Haryana will get their new Chief Minister.
There are 90 assembly constituencies in Haryana
Haryana has 90 assembly constituencies, 73 general assembly constituencies. 17 assembly constituencies are reserved. It was told that there are 2 crore 1 lakh voters in Haryana. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that Haryana is a state of sportspersons. The whole country is proud of them.
The Election Commission had announced elections on 21 September in 2019. But this time the date of assembly elections was announced 35 days in advance. The term of Haryana Assembly is till November 3, 2024.
