Gurugram latest news: A sudden fire broke out on Chandnagar Road in Farrukhnagar Nagar, causing panic in the surrounding area. The flames and smoke from the garbage heap were visible far away. Police and fire department were informed about the fire. The fire brigade personnel who reached the spot brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. According to the information, several tonnes of garbage reaches Chandnagar Road every day, but due to non-disposal of garbage for the last ten years, a mountain of garbage is forming here.
A fire broke out in a garbage heap here at around six in the evening. Within no time, flames and smoke started covering the sky. As soon as the information was received, Gaushala manager Azad Singh Fauji informed the police and fire department. Two fire engines reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Slow speed of garbage disposal becomes a problem
Due to the negligence of those responsible, a mountain of garbage is being formed on Chandnagar Road. The problem remains due to slow pace of garbage disposal. Garbage disposal is being done by the municipality with the help of private agencies, but there is still a lot of garbage lying at the dump. The case related to this is also pending in NGT.
