Divya Pahuja Murder Case: The murder of 27-year-old model Divya Pahuja in a hotel in Gurugram created a sensation in the area. The police have arrested a Delhi based businessman named Abhijeet Singh in the sensational murder case. Divya Pahuja had some obscene pictures of accused Abhijeet Singh, due to which she was continuously blackmailing him.
On January 1, Divya Pahuja had gone for a walk with murderer Abhijeet Singh and then reached City Point Hotel in Gurugram at 4:15 am on January 2 with Abhijeet and another person. On the night of January 2, Abhijeet Singh along with his other associates committed the murder of Divya and then gave Rs 10 lakh to his two other associates for the purpose of disposing of her body in his car.
Both Abhijeet’s associates ran away with the dead body. However, the police have taken Abhijeet and two others into custody and started investigating the case. Divya Pahuja’s name first surfaced in the encounter of Gurugram gangster Sandeep Gadoli.
Actually, Divya Pahuja was once Sandeep Gadoli’s girlfriend and when Gurugram police came to know about it, they laid a trap to nail Sandeep Gadoli. Gurugram Police came to know that Divya Pahuja was going to Mumbai to meet Sandeep. At that time, the gangster’s sister had alleged that Divya Pahuja was continuously sharing her location on Facebook while going to Mumbai, due to which the Gurugram Police reached out to gangster Sandeep Gadoli and encountered him in Mumbai.
On 7 February 2016, Sandeep was encountered by the Gurugram Police in Mumbai. After the encounter, a case of fake encounter was also registered in Mumbai on the complaint of the gangster’s sister, who arrested Divya Pahuja along with the Gurugram Police team by the Mumbai Police.
According to the police, Divya Pahuja had some obscene pictures of accused Abhijeet Singh, due to which she was continuously blackmailing him. Divya Pahuja often used to take money from accused Abhijeet Singh for expenses and now wanted to extort a huge amount. On January 2, accused Abhijeet Singh had come to Hotel City Point with Divya Pahuja. He wanted to delete his obscene photos from her phone but Divya did not tell him the phone password. In anger, accused Abhijeet shot and killed Divya Pahuja.
