Notices were given by the department

Complaints were also reaching the department regarding these. Notices and restoration orders were given by the department, but despite this, work was going on continuously in the colony. In the demolition campaign led by one Binesh Kumar of DTPE, the enforcement team first reached Silani village located on Sohna Palwal Road. This colony was being cut in about three acres.

The road network of the colony was also demolished.

In this, the team took action and destroyed the road network of the colony by using yellow claw on six DPCs. After this, the team was cutting a colony in about five acres near the government school of Silani village. This colony had just begun to be harvested. The team has warned not to work again by vandalizing the colony at the initial stage itself.

FIR will be filed against land owners

During this time, DTPE has appealed to the people not to invest their savings in illegal colonies. DTPE says that soon an FIR will be lodged against the land owners for cutting illegal colonies. Apart from DTPE, GMDA Executive Engineer Vikram Singh and FT Shubham Sharma were present as duty magistrate during the demolition.
