Gurugram. A woman who had gone to collect wood in Nimoth village of Sohna Sadar police station area, died in a collision with her bike. The youth riding the bike also suffered injuries in the accident. The woman’s family caught the bike rider and handed him over to the police.
Sanjay, a resident of village Harchandpur, told the police that his 51-year-old mother Sumitra had gone to collect wood from Mohini Farm in nearby village Chohadpur on Sunday evening. When she was crossing the main road near Bhagwati petrol pump carrying wood, a bike-riding youth coming from Ballabgarh hit Sumitra directly.
She was seriously injured in the accident. He was taken to Sohna Civil Hospital. He died during treatment here. The police handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem.
