Had booked flat in Godrej Summit Project

It is alleged that in December 2017, flat number 1404 was booked in E Tower on the 13th floor of the company’s Godrej Summit Project in Sector-104. Its allotment letter was issued by the builder on 16 December 2017. The matter was settled for a total of Rs 85 lakh 41 thousand 522. After the loan was granted in February 2018, an agreement was signed between the builder, buyer and SBI.

SBI issued a loan of Rs 68 lakh to the builder company. The registration of the flat was done in the year 2019, but in the year 2023, the complainant came to know about the Gurugram CJM court order, in which the court had ordered to hand over the possession of the flat to IIFL Finance Company due to non-payment of loan of the flat. After coming to know about this, the complainant contacted the builder company and other officials but did not get any satisfactory response.

Now the builder company and others were accused of defrauding them by selling the flat already mortgaged to the finance company. Now an FIR has been registered in Sushant Lok police station under the section of fraud under conspiracy. Police spokesperson Subhash Bokan said that the team is taking action in the case.
