There was no electricity supply in the plotted colony of Hasvipra in Sector-56 from 10.30 pm on Thursday to 9.30 am on Friday. Due to this the residents had to face a lot of trouble. RWA President of the sector, Harish Yadav said that after the storm that came last Friday night, a transformer of the sector had got damaged. Which has not been changed yet.
The load of that transformer is transferred to another transformer. Due to increase in load due to heat, a fault occurred in the LT line of the sector on Thursday night and its wires got burnt.
Due to this, about 1700 families living in the plotted colony of the sector remained without electricity throughout the night till 9.30 am. This information has been given to the SDO and Executive Engineer of the Electricity Corporation. He has assured to fix the system by installing a new transformer soon.
