GMDA Plans Two New Flyovers on Dwarka Expressway for Manesar Access
GMDA will construct flyovers at Shahid Ram Ranji Singh Chowk and Gauri Sati Chowk on Dwarka Expressway, easing Manesar traffic. Estimated cost ₹40 cr per flyover, tender to be released soon.
The Greater Gurgaon Development Authority (GMDA) has begun work on a new flyover plan to reduce traffic pressure on the Dwarka Expressway. Two flyovers, one at Shahid Ram Ranji Singh Chowk and another at Gauri Sati Chowk, are set to connect the Anil Ailan Mall to IMT Manesar, with an estimated cost of ₹40 cr each.

GMDA Commences Flyover Plan on Dwarka Expressway
The Greater Gurgaon Development Authority (GMDA) has started drafting a plan for a new flyover on the Dwarka Expressway. The objective is to ease travel between the Anil Ailan Mall in Sector 84 and IMT Manesar.
The proposal focuses on constructing a flyover at Shahid Ram Ranji Singh Chowk in Sector 84. The authority has confirmed that a feasibility survey and a Development & Planning Report (DPAR) are being prepared.
Earlier this week, Cabinet Minister R. Narbir Singh met with officials in Gurgaon to issue directives for improving city traffic. He specifically instructed the creation of a flyover at Shahid Ram Ranji Singh Chowk.
Gauri Sati Chowk, another junction on the main road, already has an approved flyover project. The DPAR for Gauri Sati Chowk has been finalized. The flyover there is expected to cost around ₹40 cr.
Both proposed flyovers will feature three lanes each. The distance between Gauri Sati Chowk and Shahid Ram Ranji Singh Chowk is approximately 1.5 km, a stretch currently experiencing heavy traffic congestion.
According to GMDA’s supervising engineer, Praveen Kumar, the feasibility study for the Shahid Ram Ranji Singh Chowk flyover is underway. He added that the tender for the Gauri Sati Chowk flyover will be issued within the next seven days.
Once completed, the new flyovers are expected to streamline commutes from Sector 84 to IMT Manesar, significantly reducing travel times and traffic bottlenecks on the Dwarka Expressway.
