The Reddit user wrote in his post, ‘AQI is 999 and people are bursting crackers in Gurugram? What is happening? Social media users are criticizing this procession. One user jokingly said – They are celebrating when AQI reached 1000 in Gurugram. No global city has ever done such a feat before! While another wrote – This is like celebrating Halloween with zombie-themed decorations at home.

Some users said- People have given up and now just want to have fun.

The smoke from firecrackers has made the already toxic air even more toxic. Some users said- People have given up and now just want to have fun. No one is doing anything about pollution. People usually get married once in a lifetime, why would they care about others? We have failed as a society. Now stop moral policing and let people enjoy the little life they have left after breathing this air.

Some users compared this video to a scene from the TV series Chernobyl. In this, a group of residents go to the bridge to watch the nuclear plant burn. Those people have no idea what is going to happen next.

One user said – I don’t know why but this video has the same energy as the scene from the Chernobyl series. Everyone is enjoying it. People have no idea what is going to happen to them.
