Delhi police are investigating a newly surfaced CCTV clip that may provide key clues in the deadly Govindpuri fire case. The footage shows a woman with a partially covered face entering a residential building just before a blaze broke out, which resulted in the deaths of three family members.

The recording from the early hours reveals the masked woman walking through a narrow lane, passing several parked two-wheelers, and entering the premises. While the clip does not show any initial smoke or flames, a bright light is visible from within the building during her stay. The woman is then seen exiting the premises shortly after.

The fire occurred on Friday in the early morning hours, causing widespread panic among the residents. Emergency responders and neighbors worked to rescue several occupants as the building was engulfed in thick smoke.

Previously, preliminary police investigations had suggested that a short circuit on the ground floor might have been the cause, as several parked two-wheelers in that area were destroyed by the fire. Investigators are now analyzing the footage of the masked woman to determine if her presence was coincidental or if it is linked to the cause of the tragedy.
