The Haryana government has issued a large administrative reshuffle, effective immediately, involving the transfer and reappointment of 20 senior police officers (IPS and HPS). The order, released by the Home Department under the direction of Principal Secretary Sudhir Rajpal (IAS), includes changes to the police commissioners of high‑profile districts such as Gurugram and Panchkula.
Key changes include:
- Sibash Kabiraj (IPS 1999) – Former Panchkula Police Commissioner and ADGP/Cyber & Director SCRB, now appointed as Gurugram Police Commissioner.
- Vikas Arora (IPS 1998) – Former Gurugram Police Commissioner transferred to ADGP/Administration, PHQ, Panchkula.
- Chau Rampa (IPS 1995) – Appointed ADGP, Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurugram.
- Dr. Mata Ravi Kiran (IPS 1996) – Moved from ADGP, Karnal Range to ADGP, SV & ACB (H).
- K.K. Rao (IPS 1996) – Shifted from ADGP, Hisar Range to ADGP, RTC, Bhondsi.
- Rakesh Kumar Arya (IPS 2003) – Assigned IGP, Crime Branch (H).
- Asok Kumar (IPS 2006) – Appointed IGP, Karnal Range, Karnal.
- Om Prakash (IPS 2006) – Stationed as IGP, South Range, Rewari.
- Naznin Bhushan (IPS 2007) – Dual posting: (i) IGP, HAP, Madhuban, Karnal and (ii) IGP/RTC, Bhondsi.
- Kuldip Singh (IPS 2007) – Appointed IGP, Hisar Range, Hisar.
- Hamid Akhtar (IPS 2008) – Moved to DIG/HAP, Madhuban.
- Surinder Pal Singh (IPS 2010) – Now DIG/CID (H).
- Rajendra Kumar Meena (IPS 2011) & Manbir Singh (IPS 2011) – In addition to current duties, assigned DIG, HSNCB roles in Sonipat and Rohatak respectively.
- Suneel Kumar (IPS 2012) – Holds DIG, SCB(H), Panchkula and DIG, HSNCB, Panchkula.
- Surinder Singh Bhoriya (IPS 2014) – Serving as SP, STF, Panchkula and SP, Commando, Naval (Karnal).
- Aditi Singh (IPS 2021) – Awaiting posting; now appointed SP, SV & ACB(H), Gurugram.
Three senior HPS officers have also been reassigned:
- Siddharth Dhanda (HPS) – Newly posted as SP, State Crime Branch (H).
- Poonam (HPS) – Assigned SP/SCB (H).
- Puja Dabla (HPS) – Stationed as SP/ERSS, Panchkula.
