Haryana Election Result 2024: No Congress candidate could win in the four seats of Gurugram district, Gurgaon, Badshahpur, Sohna and Pataudi. Congress has definitely lost in the district, but the party’s vote share has improved in 2024 as compared to 2019.
It also happened that this time the deposit of none of the Congress candidates was forfeited, whereas in the last assembly elections, the deposit of its candidates from Sohna and Badshahpur was also forfeited.
Congress lost all four assembly seats from Gurugram
- Congress’s Vardhan Yadav from Badshahpur had a direct contest with BJP’s Rao Narbir
- In the 2019 elections, Congress got 8.85 percent votes, this time it got 26.70 percent
- BJP won all four seats in Gurugram, no candidate’s deposit was forfeited
