New Delhi   Landlords opening shops and offices in residential colonies should now be careful. The District Town Planner Enforcement (DTP) of Gurugram has tightened the noose on running commercial activities in houses in residential colonies.

DTP has recommended to Gurugram Police Commissioner to register an FIR against 35 such landlords of eight colonies of the district. DTP enforcement investigation found violations of rules by landlords. This includes Vatika India located at DLF Phase-1, 3, Sector-82/83, Sushant Lok Phase-2 and 3, Uppal South End, South City Ek Colony.

Apart from this, to tighten the noose on the commercial activities going on in the residential houses of Golf Course Road, a letter has been written to the Gurugram Police Commissioner and a recommendation has been made to register an FIR. DTP had already given show cause notice to these landlords on behalf of the department and sought their reply. Neither any satisfactory reply was given in the department nor the activities were stopped.
