Gurugram News! Two accused of robbing ATM caught in Gurugram

Gurugram News: In Haryana’s Cyber City Gurugram, the police have arrested two accused who had come to commit ATM robbery. The police have also recovered the tools used in the crime from the possession of the accused. Also, FIR has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started. Police say that the accused are being interrogated.

Actually, on the night of 23 December, two robbers had come to the New Colony police station area of Gurugram to rob an ATM. Meanwhile, Inspector Avtar Singh, in-charge of New Colony police station, received information from Hyderabad about theft from the ATM machine of ICICI Bank.

After this, the station in-charge immediately sent a team to the spot. Police reached the spot and found that two youths were breaking the ATM machine in Feroze Gandhi Colony with the help of tools. After this the police arrested the accused. The police have also recovered the tools used in the crime from the possession of the accused.

The accused are already involved in robbery, snatching and theft.

Initial interrogation revealed that both accused Himanshu and Deepak are residents of Sohna and have been involved in incidents of robbery, snatching and theft in the past also. Four cases have been disclosed against him. At present, the police is interrogating the accused.

ACP Crime said this in the matter

ACP Crime Varun Dahiya said that New Colony police station in-charge Inspector Avtar Singh had received information about ATM robbery from Hyderabad. The police reached the spot and arrested the accused, registered an FIR against them and started investigation. The accused are being questioned by the police. Many other incidents may be revealed from the accused during interrogation.
