Gurugram. The Commissionerate Police has tightened its grip on those driving under the influence of alcohol. Following the orders of Police Commissioner Vikas Arora, a special campaign is conducted against those driving under the influence of alcohol for two days at the end of the week.

This time, during the action taken by the traffic police in two days, 93 drivers were found driving under the influence of alcohol. Whose vehicles were challaned.

Traffic Police Deputy Commissioner Virendra Vij said that to make the campaign successful, several teams of traffic police were formed and deployed at various places. Those driving under the influence of alcohol were strictly checked. During this checking campaign, challans were issued for a total of 93 vehicles as per rules.

For the safety of common citizens, Gurugram Traffic Police from time to time sets up checkpoints and issues challans to check drunken driving at night.
