Gurugram news: The top priority of Rao Narbir Singh, who became a cabinet minister in the state’s Naib Singh Saini government, is to free the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway from traffic jams. He will meet Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari within the next one week.
Rao will not only demand that the expressway be elevated but will also urge him to start work on it with immediate effect. He believes that the traffic jam on the expressway is affecting the development of not only Gurugram but also Delhi.
At the same time, its impact is being felt on Delhi and Haryana as well as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. It is a lifeline connecting many states to the national capital Delhi.
In a phone conversation with Dainik Jagran from Panchkula on Thursday, Rao Narbir Singh said that if he had been a minister in the government from 2019 to 2024, the condition of Gurugram would not have been pathetic today. It is necessary to have strong local representation in the government.
This time the public has given him a chance. The next five years will be a golden period for Gurugram. So many development works will be done that would not have happened in the last several years. The entire picture of Gurugram will change. To change the picture, first of all the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway has to be freed from traffic jams. This freedom will be achieved only when the expressway is elevated. Today it is difficult to go from Gurugram to Delhi. It is not known how much time it will take. The entire planning fails.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari is also aware of the problems of the expressway. It is expected that work on the plan to make it elevated will start soon. After this, his effort will be to lay the foundation stone of the district civil hospital as soon as possible.
The construction of the hospital will be completed within the stipulated time. Not only this, he will also try to have at least four civil hospitals in the district. Among other problems, cleanliness is not very big. Only this needs to be paid serious attention. After winning the election, he has instructed the officials that dirt should not be seen in the city. Work has already started on this. Soon the city will look clean.
Soon planning will be done to make most of the roads of the city elevated so that there is no traffic pressure on the internal roads. For this, emphasis will be laid on metro expansion not only in old Gurugram but also in Manesar and Sohna areas. Rapid development work will be done in the double engine government. More than 10 flyovers and underpasses will be built within the next five years.
Emphasis will be laid on developing facilities in industrial areas. His priority will be to get the work done keeping in mind that Gurugram should look as per the name. He will soon discuss with the concerned officials to prevent pollution from spreading.
Doors will remain open 24 hours
Rao Narbir Singh says that his doors will remain open 24 hours for the problems of the people. His effort will be that people do not have to knock the doors of the officials for their problems. Efforts will soon be started towards developing industrial area on the lines of Kharkhoda in Badshahpur area.
For this, he will communicate with entrepreneurs. With the development of industrial area, Gurugram will develop rapidly and employment will be available for the people.
