Gurugram. Under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, a builders firm cheated a woman of Rs 4.34 lakh by selling a plot by showing RERA registration. When the police did not listen, the woman took refuge in the court. On the orders of the court, Sadar police station has registered a case of fraud against the management of the builder company.
According to the police, Savita Kumari, a resident of Islampur, said in her complaint in the court that a builder company showed its registration in RERA. After this, in the name of Chief Minister Housing Scheme, a scheme was told to sell a 166 square yard house in Green City of Sadar police station area for Rs 4.34 lakh.
The victim also bought a plot by paying money in 2018. The builder also got the documents made and given. After a year, when she went to the plot site, nothing was found there. When I complained about this to the builder, he started evasive.
After some time, the builder asked her to buy back the plot and gave a check of Rs 7.25 lakh to the victim. That check bounced in the bank. Realizing the fraud, she went to Sadar police station. The policemen sent him to RERA. After this, Savita also lodged a complaint on the CM window. When she did not get justice from the police, she went to court. On his orders, Sadar police station registered a case on Sunday and started investigation.
