A fire broke out late at night in a fireball manufacturing factory in Daulatabad Industrial Area of Gurugram Sector-104. The entire area was shaken by the massive explosions in the factory. Eight people were burnt in the massive fire. Four people, including a security guard deployed in the company, died. After the explosions, the fire brigade reached the spot after getting information about the fire and controlled the fire. The explosion in the company was so strong that even the nearby houses shook. After a rescue operation that lasted for about nine hours, the people buried under the debris were taken out in a dead state, whose bodies have been taken into custody by the police. At the same time, the fire department and SDRF teams are still investigating on the spot.
According to the officials, the rescue operation has been completed, but the fire kept smoldering intermittently, which the fire brigade team had to work hard to control. The incident happened at 2:15 am in the morning. Fire officer Ramesh Kumar Saini said that he had received information that explosions were taking place after a massive fire in the company plot number-200 Technocrat Productive Solution in Daulatabad Industrial Area. After this, 24 fire engines reached the spot and controlled the fire.
Fire balls were made in this factory to prevent fire. Raw material for making these fire balls had arrived four days ago. When the workers were working here at night, a short circuit occurred here, due to which a massive explosion took place. The echo of this explosion was heard about a kilometer away. Due to this explosion, the factory was blown to pieces and the roof of the nearby factory was blown off and many walls cracked.
A wall collapsed nearby. In many nearby colonies, the glass of the windows broke and the walls cracked. It is being told that after the loud explosion, these fire balls kept exploding for about half an hour, due to which an atmosphere of panic was created among the people. Due to the explosions, the tin shed and stones in the factory flew and fell about 200 meters away.
Four people have died in this incident while eight people have been injured, who are being treated in the Civil Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Kaushik (28) of Laxman Vihar, who worked in the company, Arun (26) resident of Rae Bareli, UP and Ram Avadh (59) resident of Karol Bagh, Delhi, who worked as a guard. While one could not be identified.
DCP West Karan Goyal said that the cause of the fire is being told to be a short circuit. The explosions have occurred due to the chemicals and fire balls lying in the factory. The police have detained the factory owner and are interrogating him. It is also being investigated whether this factory has the relevant license and NOC or not. He told that fire ball is a type of fire extinguisher, which is ball shaped and is used to extinguish fire.
