Haryana Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman Krishna Kumar reached Manesar on Monday to meet the sanitation workers of Manesar Municipal Corporation.
On this occasion, he directly interacted with the sanitation workers and also informed them about the schemes and policies of the Commission. After this, he reached Manesar Municipal Corporation office and also met Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg.
On behalf of Manesar Municipal Corporation, a dialogue program was organized with the sanitation workers in village Naurangpur Vatika. On his arrival here, Joint Commissioner Dinesh Kumar welcomed him with a bouquet. During this, Chairman Krishna Kumar learned from the employees about their problems and gave information about the work being done by the Commission in the interests of the employees.
He said that this is his 48th program in the entire state in dialogue with sanitation workers. On behalf of the Commission, he is establishing direct communication with the sanitation workers in all the districts of the state to know their problems.
He said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal has done many works in the interests of the employees in the state. Chief Minister Manohar Lal has formed Haryana Skill Employment Corporation (HKRN) to end the contractual system. After joining HKRN, employees in the state are getting salaries on time. Earlier, contractors or middlemen used to eat away the money entitled to the employees, but after the formation of HKRN, timely and complete money is being sent directly to the employees’ accounts.
Some organizations are confusing employees
Krishna Kumar said that earlier the contractors used to deduct the ESI and PF money of the employees, but did not deposit that money in the departments. Since joining HKRN, every penny is accounted for by the employees. There was a plan going on to include sanitation workers in HKRN, but some sanitation workers organizations were confusing the employees and not allowing them to join. This is causing loss to employees.
The Commission strongly desires that sanitation workers should now be included in HKRN so that the interests of the employees can be protected. During this, a demand letter was handed over to him on behalf of All India Safai Karmachari Welfare Association.
During this time, Sanitation Officer of Manesar Municipal Corporation MS Sodhi, SDO Shashikant of Swachh Bharat Mission, Senior Sanitary Inspector Vijay Kaushik, Sanitary Inspector Manoj Kumar and Sumit Kumar and other dignitaries and officials were present with him.
