Gurugram Challan: Challans are being issued in large numbers in Gurugram, fines of Rs 25,000 each

Gurugram Challan: After the implementation of Grape Phase 4, the Town and Country Planning Department started taking strict action by inspecting the ongoing construction works of the city’s licensed colonies and licensed projects on Tuesday. In this episode, District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) Manish Yadav has formed teams and started the survey.

In this, Assistant Town Planner, Junior Engineers inspected the sites and after photographing the construction works found on the spot, prepared a list and issued four separate challans of about 25-25 thousand rupees against their owners under NGT rules. These constructions were being done in DLF, Sushant Lok residential colonies, while construction is completely banned right now.

10 year old diesel and 15 year old petrol vehicles seized

On the other hand, Gurugram Traffic Police is also continuously taking action against the drivers regarding pollution control. 10 year old diesel and 15 year old petrol vehicles running on the roads are being seized. 19 vehicles have been seized in the last four days. Since the implementation of Grape 3, 2500 vehicles have been challaned till now.

Advisory issued for the people of Gurugram

After the implementation of GRAP phase regarding pollution, the traffic police also issued advisory for the people of Gurugram, but even after this, a large number of drivers are taking their vehicles out on the roads. The traffic police said that challan was issued against 484 vehicles spreading pollution.

At the same time, 19 ten-year-old diesel and 15-year-old petrol vehicles were found running on the road. The team seized them. DCP Traffic Virendra Vij said that similar action will continue in future as well. To avoid action, everyone should follow the traffic rules.

Three buildings sealed for illegal commercial activity

On Tuesday, the District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) of the Town and Country Planning Department carried out a sealing campaign against illegal commercial activities in DLF Phase 3.

During this, sealing action was taken in three houses in Nathupur Road, S-Block and V-Block in DLF Phase 3. The department had received a complaint through the CM window regarding illegal commercial activities in these houses.
