In Gurugram, a youth died after getting stuck in the mud of a pond. After about 5 hours of hard work, the dead body of the young man could be found. The family members are blaming the village panchayat for this accident. He says that the Panchayat got the pond cleaned but did not put up a wire fence, due to which this accident took place.

A 30-year-old auto driver who jumped into a pond to take a bath in Gurugram’s Bhora Kalan village died after getting stuck in the mud. Police told that the incident happened on Monday evening. Police said that after getting information about the incident, the fire department team reached the spot with divers.

After about five hours of effort, the dead body was found trapped in the swamp in the pond. Police handed over the body to the relatives of the deceased after the postmortem on Tuesday. According to the police, the deceased Pradeep Kumar was an auto driver and a resident of Bhaura Kalan village.

The relatives of the deceased allege that this incident happened due to the negligence of the Gram Panchayat. He told that recently the panchayat had removed the soil from the pond during cleaning, but wire fencing was not installed, due to which this incident took place.

Police said that due to lack of electricity, Pradeep was playing cards with two of his friends near the pond on Monday. He told that after some time when the power came on, both Pradeep’s friends went to the tubewell to get relief from the heat, while Pradeep jumped into the pond.

Police said some villagers saw Pradeep jumping into the pond and when he did not return after some time, they raised an alarm and informed the police. Immediately after this, the police and fire brigade team reached the spot and after five hours of effort, Pradeep’s body was recovered from the pond.
