Gurugram Breaking News : Farmers camp on Punjab-Haryana border, internet closed till 17th February in 7 districts of Haryana

In its new order, the Haryana government has said that in view of the call of farmers’ movement, there is a possibility of tension, irritation, agitation, damage to public and private property.

There is a possibility of disturbance of peace in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts. In such a situation, the ban on mobile internet services, SMS services and other dongle services is extended till 11:59 pm on 17th February.

Farmers of Punjab-Haryana have been standing at the border for three days demanding their demands. Three rounds of talks with the government have failed and the farmers are preparing to march to Delhi. Regarding this, the police administration is keeping a strict vigil on the Punjab-Haryana border. Meanwhile, the Haryana government has now extended the internet ban in 7 districts.

In fact, when the farmers had announced the Delhi Chalo Andon on February 13, the Haryana government had shut down mobile internet in seven districts. Issuing an advisory, the government had suspended mobile internet services,

bulk SMS and all dongle services provided on mobile networks, except voice calls, in most areas of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts. . In view of the farmers’ movement, this ban has now been extended.

Permanent barricading on Shambhu border

Shambhu border of Haryana-Punjab has been closed permanently. The reason, last time the barricading done by the police was thrown into the river by the farmers with their tractors.

Therefore, this time huge cement barricades have been placed on the highway and a cement wall has been erected on the entire highway. After this, these barricades have been blocked with cement and concrete.
