Gurugram. The preparations of the district administration are going on war footing for the Prime Minister’s proposed visit to Gurugram on March 11 for the inauguration of Dwarka Expressway. In order to make arrangements related to the event, DC Nishant Kumar Yadav held a meeting with the administrative officials at the venue of the event on Thursday and gave instructions regarding discharging their responsibilities. During this, he held a press conference at the venue itself and shared information related to the Prime Minister’s arrival with the media persons.
Earlier on Thursday morning, Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal held a meeting with the district administration and the Chairman of the National Highway Authority of India through video conference and conducted a detailed review of the administrative preparations and security related administrative supervision system.
Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav and Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora held a meeting with senior officials and officers of the district at the venue itself to ensure that the program could be organized in a grand manner, in a safe and peaceful manner. He gave instructions to the concerned officers for point-wise preparations.
He said that all the officers should work with mutual coordination, so that apart from law and order, security system, traffic system and route line system remains better. DC gave instructions to the concerned officers to discharge their responsibilities. SPG team has visited the rally site. He will remain in the limits of Gurugram for about one and a half hours. He will go back from the helipad being built behind the rally venue.
In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav discussed the work responsibilities of various departments and instructed the officers to work properly for medical arrangements, drinking water, food, vehicles, electricity and seating arrangements. Apart from this, instructions were given regarding the exhibition to be set up at the venue, help desk and its proper management. CP gave instructions to all concerned officials regarding proper traffic arrangements, route lines and law and order. He said that arrangements should be made at every level so that the program can be organized in a grand manner in an organized, safe and peaceful manner.
Governor and Chief Minister will welcome at Bajgheda border
During this, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Prime Minister will visit Gurugram by road on Monday, March 11 to inaugurate the Gurugram part of Dwarka Expressway. During this, on the Prime Minister’s arrival in Haryana, he will be welcomed by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Chief Minister Manohar Lal and other dignitaries at the Bajgheda border.
He informed that the Prime Minister will enter the Haryana border from Delhi using the Dwarka Expressway. After this, after accepting the greetings of the citizens present at the Dwarka Expressway near village Basai, the Prime Minister will inspect the four-layer trumpet part of the Dwarka Expressway on foot. He said that on the arrival of the Prime Minister, a public meeting has also been organized in Sector 82 with the presence of more than 50 thousand people. From where the Prime Minister will also address the nation after inaugurating the Dwarka Expressway.
Deputy Commissioner said that during this time, the Prime Minister will also visit the exhibition based on Dwarka Expressway and the development story of the National Highway Authority of India project in Haryana at the venue. He told that this entire event will be under CCTV surveillance. On this occasion, ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, Municipal Corporation Panipat Commissioner Sahil Gupta and other officers were present.
