An employee of an IT company based in DLF Phase-3, providing customer service for a bank, committed a fraud of Rs 7 lakh by taking personal information of credit cards of 14 customers. Cyber police station has registered a report against the accused on the complaint of the company official.

Vinesh Malhotra, an officer of Vinesh Malhotra, told the police that between July 2023 and January 2024, Mohit Mishra, an employee working in his company, stole the credit card information of 13-14 customers including CVV number and other information and defrauded the bank by deducting about seven lakh rupees from their credit cards. Got transferred to the accounts.
The accused transferred the amount to his mother Sunaina Devi, father Ramesh Kant Mishra, relative Meena Devi and personal account. After getting information about the customer’s complaint, a complaint was lodged with the police.
Cyber police station has registered a report on the basis of complaint and arrested the accused Mohit Mishra. Police has started the investigation of the matter. Besides, a notice has been issued to the concerned bank asking for information.
