On Tuesday, the Town and Country Planning Department in Gurugram district bulldozed three illegal colonies. No protest was seen during this campaign which was carried out in the presence of police force.

Action under the leadership of DTPE Madholia

The demolition squad led by DTPE Amit Madholia first reached Budhera village. Two new colonies were being developed on four acres of land in this village. DPC was laid to build four houses. Apart from this, a 600 meter long road was constructed.

Dug up the road

Following the order of DTPE, the bulldozer uprooted the DPC and the road. After this, the demolition squad reached Dhankot village. A colony was being developed in about four and a half acres of land in this village.

The colony turned into rubble

Property dealers had even constructed a cemented road of about 330 meters to sell the colony. Preparations were being made for a boundary wall. The demolition squad of DTPE reduced this colony to rubble. The road was dug up.

DTPE Amit Madholia said that demolition of illegal colonies will continue. He appealed to the people not to invest their life savings in such colonies. These colonies can be demolished anytime.
