Gurugram Police, MCG, HSVP Carry Out Major Bulldozer Action Against Encroachments
Gurugram Police, Municipal Corporation, and HUDA demolished multiple illegal encroachments including an alcohol-selling dairy, reclaiming government land across the city.
Gurugram authorities launched a massive bulldozer operation across multiple sectors, demolishing illegal structures and reclaiming government land worth crores. The action targeted unauthorized constructions, including a dairy used for illicit alcohol sales.

Bulldozer Action: Gurugram Police, MCG, HSVP Launch Major Encroachment Drive
Gurugram witnessed a ‘bulldozer day’ on Monday as multiple agencies launched coordinated operations against illegal encroachments. Gurugram Police, Gurugram Nagar Nigam, and Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) simultaneously carried out actions across different areas, reclaiming crore rupees worth of government land and issuing warnings to encroachers.
Dairy Used for Alcohol Sales Demolished
The first operation targeted a dairy illegally selling alcohol. On Monday, Gurugram Police raided a dairy in Om Vihar Phase 1 where criminal Vikas from Nathupur was operating. Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar stated Vikas already faces six cases under the Excise Act.
Acting on intelligence about alcohol being supplied through the dairy, police arrived with bulldozers and completely destroyed the 200-gallon structure. The Palm Vihar Crime Branch team also participated in the operation.
Nagar Nigam Recovers Crore-Rupee Government Land
In another major action, Gurugram Nagar Nigam conducted operations in Baliywas village, removing illegal occupation of nearly 6 acres of government land worth crores.
Nagar Nigam spokesperson Satbir Singh Rohillia stated the operation was led by Assistant Engineer Yatindar and Junior Engineer Jaswinder under official supervision. During the action, the team including machinery and officials were present at the site.
Authorities confirmed that complaints about illegal constructions on government land were receiving continuous reports, leading to investigation and action. The operation recovered approximately 6 acres of land from illegal buildings and occupation.
Officials stated that protecting public property and government land is Nagar Nigam’s priority, with anti-encroachment campaigns continuing across the city. They warned future encroachment attempts will face strict legal action.
HSVP Clears Sectors 29 and 48
Haryana Urban Development Authority conducted its third major action. HSVP bulldozers were deployed in Sector 29 and Sector 48 to remove encroachments.
Development Commissioner HUDA Vikas stated Sector 29’s encroachment drive was led by SDO Amit Vashisht. CEO Dr. Anupama Malik gave strict directives that no leniency would be shown for Sector 29. Steps will be taken to keep the sector clean and clear.
In Sector 48, encroachment drives were conducted, removing several illegal shacks and shops from the area.
