Bulldozer action in Raisina Hills: The effect of the new government is visible. After months of silence, the council is seen in action. For the first time, 12 illegal constructions developed in 22 acres were razed to the ground. The council’s yellow claws razed the illegal constructions in the hill adjoining Raisina in the Aravali Hills. In this demolition action that lasted for three hours, the boundary walls, concrete houses and swimming pools of about 12 illegal constructions were demolished.
About 40 illegal constructions were identified in the survey
The team of council officials had identified about 40 illegal constructions after conducting a survey. Notices were issued to them. Those who did the illegal construction did not respond to the notice sent by the council. After this, demolition action was taken.
A heavy police force was deployed for security under the leadership of Sub Inspector Sant Kumar of Bhondsi Police Station along with the officials of the Municipal Council. Under the leadership of Duty Magistrate SDO Rajpal Khatana, the demolition proceedings were started from Farm House Number Seven of R-One, an illegal construction built on the hill.
The swimming pool built in the farm house and a concrete house were demolished. During this, Junior Engineer Ajay Pangal, Junior Engineer Digambar Singh, Patwari Subhash Khatana and the staff of the council were present.
Let us tell you that four walls of eight to nine feet high of 12 farm houses built in about 22 acres, swimming pool built in the farm house and a concrete house were demolished.
