On Thursday, 19 June 2026, the District Town Planning (DTP) office in Gurugram executed a large‑scale enforcement operation in DLF Phase 3. The operation was carried out under the leadership of DTP Officer Amit Madholia and was in compliance with directives from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Over 150 illegal PG (pay‑and‑go) flats were sealed, and stilt‑based structures were demolished using a bulldozer.

The crackdown began around noon from the S‑Block, Nathupur Road, where police and district administration assisted the DTP team. The team targeted a range of unauthorized establishments including hotels, hospitals, PGs, offices, beauty parlours, and stilt parking facilities.

Key actions included sealing the illegal hotel “Moonlight” at plot number Nathupur Road‑5 and the unlawful hospital “The Medicity” on Nathupur Road‑45. An unauthorized commercial office on plot number Nathupur Road‑2 was also sealed.

The most extensive intervention occurred at the Amlatas Apartments located at S‑23/1. The 48‑room illegal PG operating in the building was completely sealed. Similarly, a beauty parlour in the basement and a 25‑room PG on upper floors at S‑24/1 were shut down. The 72‑room PG spread across four floors at S‑24/9 was also sealed.

At plot number NR‑38, the Pristine Care Clinic’s illegal construction on a side setback was removed with the help of a JCB machine. Meanwhile, an illegal office in the stilt parking at S‑23/5 was destroyed by the same machine, marking the first time a JCB was used to demolish illegal build‑ups within the stilt area of DLF Phase 3.

Additional demolitions included a drawing room and rear setback construction on the stilt floor at S‑24/3, six illegal servant quarters and a leisure room at S‑24/4, and five servant quarters at S‑24/5—all sealed. A boutique operating on the stilt at S‑25/1 was demolished, and a shed in the rear setback was removed by JCB. Six illegal quarters on the stilt floor and three on the terrace floor at S‑25/1 were sealed, and an illegal entry ramp was also destroyed.

Further, five servant quarters in the setback area and an interior designer office in the stilt at S‑25/8 were sealed. The operation also addressed right‑of‑way encroachments: illegal grilles in front of two plots were removed, and four guard rooms were demolished to clear the public pathway.

Speaking about the operation, DTP Officer Amit Madholia stated that this is a continuation of the enforcement campaign across DLF Phase 1 to 5, aimed at eliminating illegal constructions and activities that contravene building regulations. He added that legal action, including FIRs, will be pursued against anyone obstructing governmental efforts.

The DTP’s actions demonstrate a firm commitment to upholding the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s orders and ensuring that DLF Phase 3 remains compliant with urban planning norms. The enforcement drive is expected to persist as part of a broader initiative to sanitize the area of unauthorized structures and commercial operations.
