Cases related to bank loan, motor accident, NIACT, criminal, revenue and matrimonial disputes will be settled in Rashtriya Lok Adalat.

Patwardhan said that Lok Adalat is proving to be very effective in cases which can be resolved by mutual consent. The decision given in Lok Adalat has the same importance as the decision given in ordinary court. Appeal cannot be filed against the decision pronounced in Lok Adalat. In this, cheap and easy justice is available. Through these Lok Adalats, people’s cases are resolved without wasting time and money. In Lok Adalats, neither party wins nor loses, rather disputes are resolved with mutual consent of both the parties.
