Gurugram. District Town Planner Enforcement on Thursday demolished the construction going on in an illegal colony in Sarai Alaverdi.
The complaint was made on the chief minister’s window. Apart from this, 10 properties were sealed when commercial activities were being conducted on residential plots in Sector-82 and Sector-83 Vatika City.

In connection with an illegal colony in village Alaverdi, the matter was referred to the department from the Chief Minister’s Office. On investigation, the complaint was found to be correct. On Thursday, the team of the department along with the police force reached the spot. Along with demolishing the illegal construction here, a warning has also been given that if illegal construction is done again, action will be taken to file a case. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) engineer was present here as the duty magistrate.
After this the team of the department reached Vatika City Sector-83-84. Here those people who were doing commercial activity in the residential property were first given notices. He did not give any satisfactory reply to the notice. Due to this, 10 establishments were sealed on Thursday. It has been warned that if the seal is tampered with, a case will be filed.
