The Gurugram police have taken swift action against five drivers who were found parking vehicles on roads and sidewalks, causing significant traffic disruptions. Under Section 188 of the Delhi Auto Law (FDI Phase-2), the officers have been apprehended for obstructing public pathways and violating parking regulations.
The detained individuals include Krishan Nivasi Manpuri (Haryana), Sandeep Nivasi Itava (Haryana), Badal Singh NivasiAligarh (Haryana), Ajay Kumar Nivasi Panha (Madhya Pradesh), and Lav Kusha Nivasi Pratapgarh (Haryana). Police have registered four separate FIRs against them for causing public nuisance through unauthorized vehicle parking and road obstructions.
Authorities emphasized that such actions disturb everyday commuters and have vowed to intensify operations against similar violations. The crackdown, part of a broader initiative to restore smooth traffic flow in Gurugram, will continue targeting illegal parking and erratic behavior on public roads.
