Gurugram news : There is a big relief news for thousands of families living in New Gurugram. Gurugram Mahanagar City Bus Limited (GMCBL) has connected eight societies and three villages of New Gurugram with city bus service. Till now, people of these societies or villages had to resort to cabs or sharing autos to go to the metro station, which was expensive.
It also took more time, but now people will get convenience from this. On the start of the city bus service on Sunday morning, more than 100 people from Sare Homes Society located in Sector-92 gathered and welcomed it.
GMCB reached near Sare Homes Society located in Sector-92
The first bus of GMCB reached near Sare Homes Society located in Sector-92 on Sunday morning. About one thousand families live in this society. GMCB has started route number 135B. For two months, efforts were being made by the United Association of New Gurugram to connect societies from Sector-92 to 95 with the city bus service. The delegation of the association also met the General Manager and Manager of GMCB in this regard.
It will go through this route
This city bus used to come till DLF New Town Heights located in Sector-91. Now, around 12 to 15 thousand families of Sector-92-based Bestac Sanskriti, Raheja Navodaya, Ansal Heights, GLS Avenue, Sector-95-based ROF Ananda, Shanti Vihar, San Verdante, besides villages Dhorka, Mevka and Wazirpur will benefit from this. Right now, this bus service will be available every hour. GMCB has started two buses on this route. The first bus will run at 7.50 am.

United Association of New Gurugram spokesperson Praveen Malik said, “With the start of the city bus service, thousands of families from eight societies and three villages will benefit. They will not face any problem in reaching the metro station. On Sunday, when the bus reached outside Sare Homes Society, people welcomed it.”
GMCBL depot manager Rajiv Nagpal said, “There was a demand from the residents of Sector-92 to 95 to start the city bus service. In such a situation, two buses will be run on this route. The bus will run every hour. The number of buses will be increased when new buses arrive.”
